Somatic Healing & Mindful Self-Compassion

I’m Kalindi — yoga teacher, poet, and somatic practitioner. My work is about supporting curiosity, presence, and connection with the body’s natural wisdom. I value time in nature and quiet spaces, where there is often room to slow down, notice what is present, and simply be.

My Path

I came to this work through my own body’s often persistent requests for attention.

Experiences with injury, health issues and ongoing discomfort led me to explore the mind–body connection more deeply and to question the ways we are often taught to push through tension or ignore subtle signals. My own healing is still in progress, and this ongoing journey continues to guide how I relate to my body and to others—with curiosity, care, and respect for limits.

These experiences inspired me to pursue training in yoga, mindfulness, and somatic modalities, including Mindful Self-Compassion, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Resonant Language & Healing, and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy. These trainings inform how I support others, attending to what is present and felt, rather than aiming for particular outcomes.

How I Work

My somatic offerings are gentle, relational, and grounded in present-moment experience.

Sessions may include gentle movement, guided meditation or imagery, and compassionate dialogue. Together, we notice sensations, emotions, breath, imagery, and meaning as they arise, allowing awareness to unfold naturally and at its own pace.

I walk alongside those I work with, holding space with care, presence, and gentle attention. Together, we explore what arises, at your pace and in your way, without pressure or expectation.

Rather than striving for insight, release, or change, we prioritize safety, consent, and listening—creating a supportive space where clarity or easing may emerge, or where simply being with what is present feels enough.

This Work May Be Supportive If You:

  • Are living with ongoing stress, pain, or recovery from injury or other health challenges

  • Feel disconnected from your body or overwhelmed by inner experience

  • Are sensitive, reflective, or highly attuned and benefit from a slower pace

  • Want to relate to yourself with greater presence and kindness

This work is not about fixing, pushing through discomfort, or forcing emotional release, and no prior yoga or meditation experience is needed.

What to Expect

You can expect a supportive, empathic space rooted in resonance and care.

Sessions invite gentle connection with body, mind, heart, and spirit, offering room to explore your lived experience as it is. Together, we notice what is present and how it is held, allowing new awareness—if and when it arises—to integrate gradually into daily life.
