I am held by her,
by the sea.
I become her—
a dissolving
of my atoms
into her atoms.
My feet buried
in rocky sand,
or sandy rocks—
grounded
into the earth,
pulsing,
pulsing.
Until my mind
shatters
like a kaleidoscope:
ocean rocks
shaken,
shaken—
until old trauma stones
soften,
dissolving
into sandy waters.
I am made new—
in wholeness,
in magic.
My atoms, heartbeat
of the universe.
And she is me:
a becoming,
an unfolding,
breath
by
breath.
Breathe in:
I create.
I am a unique co-creator.
Breathe out:
I surrender.
I am one with the ocean,
and the cosmos.
I am you, she, he, they, we—
and me—
all at once,
and all together.
I am a healing,
breathing being—
free.
